1. SUFFICIENT PROTEIN AND MICRONUTRIENTS
A regular and sufficient intake of micronutrients and protein is crucial. An optimal protein metabolism is not only important for building and maintaining muscle mass, but also for many other functions such as the immune system, antibodies, blood cells, enzymes and hormones.
Pay attention to the regular intake of about 25 g protein every 3 to 4 hours. If this amount cannot be covered sufficiently by meals (e.g. in the afternoon), protein supplements (protein bars, protein shakes) are a convenient and high-quality alternative.
Here you can find the right protein products.
2. SUN AND VITAMIN D
Vitamin D plays a central role for the immune system and the body's own defences. It is mainly formed in the skin by sun radiation. The majority of the population in Switzerland and Germany has a vitamin D deficiency. OMEGA 3 PLUS from SPONSER contains high-quality omega-3 fatty acids and provides a daily ration of vitamin D.
3. SPORT AND EXERCISE
Sport has great influence on health and the immune system in many ways, directly and indirectly. Exercise has a positive effect on body and mind and thus contributes to health, for example through the increased release of happiness hormones.

4. REDUCING STRESS & POSITIVE MOOD
Constant stress weakens the immune system! Wherever possible, try to eliminate stressful circumstances and consciously relax with sports, music, a walk or meditation. No matter what it is, find out what is good for you and use it!
5. GET ENOUGH SLEEP
The better we sleep, the more effective our immune system can work! In contrast, lack of sleep weakens our immune cells decisively in their function. Support the hormonal and regenerative processes during sleep additionally with a "night protein" (MULTI PROTEIN / CASEIN). This is slowly digested and ensures a continuous influx of amino acids into the bloodstream.
6. VITAMINS, MINERALS AND SECONDARY PLANT SUBSTANCES
If the body has sufficient essential vitamins, minerals and secondary plant substances at its disposal, the immune system is supported and pathogens (viruses, bacteria) can be fended off better. The best scientific evidence currently exists for vitamin D, vitamin C and zinc.
IMMUNOGUARD is a herbal food supplement with functional ingredients, secondary plant substances, vitamins and zinc. It was developed with the aim of strengthening the immune system in various ways and protecting the body from oxidative stress.
7. PRE- AND PROBIOTICS
A healthy intestinal flora is of central importance because it serves as the first line of defence against pathogenic germs. Our intestinal bacteria can be specifically supported by taking pro- and prebiotics.
Prebiotic fibres are naturally found in the fibrous parts of fruits and vegetables. Try to include at least one probiotic, fermented food such as natural yoghurt (without added sugar) or cheese in your daily diet. Eat whole fruit, with its skin if possible, instead of drinking fruit juice. As far as fibre content is concerned, vegetables are generally preferable to fruits.
LOW CARB PROTEIN bars are rich in soluble prebiotic dietary fibres and, of course, provide high quality protein. Practically speaking, prebiotics and probiotics can be taken in combination. Ideal and tasty is for example a natural yoghurt in combination with one of our two delicious flavours of the LOW CARB PROTEIN SHAKES.
8. COLOSTRUM AND NUCLEOTIDES
COLOSTRUM, also called first or beast milk, is rich in growth and immunomodulating nutrients such as immunoglobulins, lactoferrin and growth factors. Colostrum thus provides valuable co-factors for the maintenance of healthy defences and general well-being that go beyond the pure protein content.
NUCLEOTIDES are the components of the body's RNA and DNA. They are used for rapid cell multiplication and thus play an important role in situations of increased stress and a heightened immune response of the body. Nucleotides are naturally found in yeast, also added to our IMMUNOGUARD, or many fermented foods.
TIP: 100% pure COLOSTRUM (only available in CH) powder as an addition to food, shakes or drinks.
9. AVOID ALCOHOL AND NICOTINE
Alcohol and nicotine are among the decisive factors in weakening the immune system. The body's own defence cells, the so-called white blood cells, are inhibited in their activity and function.
Smoking has a negative effect on the bronchial system. Pathogens such as viruses and bacteria can penetrate more easily and survive longer.
